Charlotte’s first birthday shin-dig

We learned on Charlotte’s first birthday this year that it would be a life long duty for us to make an effort to really acknowledge her big day. A close friend who has a son that share’s Charlotte’s birthday had told me this, but I didn’t really realize it until her day came and went. Everyone is very tired from holiday celebrations, and most people are getting back into the swing of real life. So when we met some friends in the mountains of Virginia, we celebrated! With barbecue and funfetti cupcakes, and, I believe, a Patriots game, we had the best time!
