Christmas 2013

A beautiful Christmas season made extra special by all of us celebrating Charlotte’s first Christmas~ tree decorating, cookie baking, hanging with amazing friends… unfortunately, Ahren was on call on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and he had to spend some time in the hospital, but our lovely friends, the Mitchos, included me and the girls in their Christmas Eve morning. Christmas Eve night was quiet and peaceful, and Santa pulled out all the stops with a play kitchen for the girls (Finn). Christmas morning was so much fun, despite Ahren having to leave for a little while. We really just enjoyed the quiet of the day after a beyond busy few months. We ate good food, read books, listened to music, and just hung out together!
